At a time when the healthcare industry was facing constant change, John Muir Health was challenged to alter it's cost model in order to continue to grow. A new vision for future growth was introduced, which anchored employees through this economic change, allowing them to regain focus on the patient experience and reinforce their pride towards the organization.

John Muir Healthcare introduced an internal brand based on vision and values with an inspiring vision book, while engaging on-site vision events were held across campus. Event signage promoted vision and values, vision-based contests boosted engagement, and photos taken of value signage emphasized employee responsibility for patient experience. Photos from the event became a screen-saver which retained momentum during this internal transformation.
